Face Awards 2013

Last year I attended IMATS LA where they were hosting a NXY Cosmetics Face Awards. I was so impressed with the last years winner that I decided to enter the competition this year. I know there will be a lot of amazing makeup artist entering but it was such an amazing opportunity why not enter?

Make-up, Make-up & MORE Make-up.

Yes, I admit it I am addicted to make-up. When ever I go to the store I always head to the make-up aisles even when I don't need more. I like to go through each aisle to see if there is anything new or if anyone recommend something for me to try.

I get a lot of E.L.F. products because they are so inexpensive and good quality. I love to stock up on their eye lashes. This shopping trip I only got two more packs of eye lashes (as if I needed more). Also from E.L.F. I got some blush (which may be to bright for me), another angled brush and a teal eye shadow for the spring!

From the Cover Girl aisle I picked up some new foundation. I just got a new foundation but I heard amazing things about this Cover Girl foundation. The one I got is a 3-in-1 foundation. It promotes all-day flawless coverage. My favorite part is it's not only foundation but it is primer and concealer as well. I went with 855 Soft Honey even though I'm not sure if this was the right color for me.

From Secret I got a couple of deodorants. My boyfriend tends to use up my deodorant so I got a couple of girly scents. I got vanilla scent and passion de tango.

Victoria's Secret Deal April 2013.

Victoria's Secret is pretty pricy but I gotta admit I am addicted to shopping there. I normally go to the store when they are having great deals or I get the discount cards.

I got a couple of great discount cards in the mail along with a couple of the Secret Reward Cards worth $10.00 each. So I took advantage off all the discounts.

I purchased this cute Polkadot bra which would normally be $45.00. I got it for $25.00 (not including CA tax). I had a discount card for $10.00 off purchase of any bra along with $10.00 off Secret Reward Card. I had two award cards worth $10.00 but I could only use one.

In the mail I also received a card for a Free Lace "Shortie". The price of the Shortie was $9.50 but I got it for free. I always take advantage of the free pantie gift cards!

Travel Essentials - Carry On

TSA Approved

For the safety and security of the traveling public, TSA, the Federal Aviation Administration and the airlines have prohibited certain items from being brought onto airplanes in carry-on and checked bags.

3-1-1 for Carry-ons

Liquids, aerosols and gels, in limited quantities, are safe to bring aboard an aircraft. Each traveler is allowed one bag in order to limit the total volume of liquids, aerosols and gels. Consolidating products into one bag and X-raying them separately from the carry-on bag enables security officers to quickly clear all items.

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3.4 ounce (100ml) bottle or less (by volume); 1 quart-sized, clear plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3.4 ounce (100ml) container size is a security measure.

Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.

3-1-1 is for short trips. If in doubt, put your liquids in checked luggage.

Declare larger liquids. Medications, baby formula and food, and breast milk are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding 3.4 ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint. Officers may need to open these items to conduct additional screening.
